⚠️ Important: YouTube Terms of Service Apply
By using Gorilla to access YouTube content, you agree to comply with YouTube's Terms of Service and Google's Terms of Service. Gorilla is an independent interface to YouTube—it does not modify YouTube's underlying terms or obligations. All content accessed through Gorilla remains governed by YouTube and Google's policies.
1. License and Usage Rights
- Gorilla is provided for personal, non-commercial use. You may use it to watch curated YouTube content on any device as permitted by these terms and YouTube's Terms of Service.
- You may not redistribute, sell, modify, or use Gorilla for commercial purposes without express written permission.
- Your use of Gorilla is conditional upon your acceptance and compliance with YouTube's and Google's respective terms of service.
2. YouTube and Third-Party Content
- Gorilla is an independent interface that accesses YouTube's publicly available content through YouTube's official APIs. We do not host, store, or distribute YouTube videos.

- Gorilla does not endorse or claim responsibility for the accuracy, legality, or appropriateness of any content accessed through the platform.
3. Intellectual Property

- We reserve the right to modify, remove, or restrict access to features at any time without notice.
- Gorilla is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way associated with YouTube or Google.
5. Limitation of Liability
- Gorilla and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the service.
- We are not responsible for any issues, downtime, or data loss caused by YouTube, Google, or their services.

- We reserve the right to deny access to anyone who violates these terms or YouTube's terms.
7. Third-Party API Policies and Tracking
- Gorilla uses the YouTube Data API to access and display content. Your use of Gorilla is also subject to Google's Terms of Service.
- Any data transmitted to or through YouTube's APIs is governed by YouTube's and Google's privacy policies, not solely by Gorilla's policy.
- Tracking Clarification: Gorilla contains zero tracking within the app itself or within spawned YouTube wrappers, except for data collected directly by YouTube or Google when you play videos. Google Analytics is used only on our public marketing website (gorilla.tube) and does not track activity within the application or wrappers.
- We do not control YouTube's or Google's services and are not responsible for their availability or performance.
8. Privacy
- By using our service, you agree to our Privacy Policy regarding data collection and usage.
- Please note that YouTube and Google also collect data independently through their services. Review their privacy policies at Google Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to Terms
- We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
- If YouTube or Google changes their terms of service, your continued use of Gorilla means you accept those changes as well.
